En god start på hjemmebane

Today the team took one step up in maturity and competitiveness. We were facing a team that was number one in the league chart with a 3-0 record. And we forced them to play their starting five for 30 minutes. We set the goal to make a good impression at home for our supporters and fans and I think we achieved it.

We had some moments of disconnection and lack of control of the game tempo, in the first 5 minutes of the second quarter and in the beginning of the third. The good news is, that we managed to shake it off and pick up our flow and concentration on defense and offense in both moments.

We also need to earn the respect of the referees this season, and that will only happen when we prove that we can compete with every team like we did today.

I am especially happy with the performance we saw today of players like Peter, Pablo, Magnus, and Samuel. They are taking steps up and being the rock we need to keep building. I am sure more players will join this group soon and when we have Zidane ready to play we will be a hard team to beat.

Thanks, Holbæk for your support, we hope to see you at our next home game against Copenhagen on the 22nd of October.
