First win at home was the product of a great collective defensive effort. We managed to lock down their key players and reduce their shot attempts and their percentage of success on them. All this while winning the rebound battle and keeping our turnovers low.
Magnus Donsrud was key in this defensive effort, making excellent work on their new American player and top scorer in the last three games.
Our offense wasn’t clicking that well at the beginning of the first quarter, but Jack Sørensen changed that, producing 12 points for the team in two minutes, between his own points and the assists he delivered.
From there, and with Peter and Gustav dominating the boards and the zone we cruised to our first home win, and the biggest win so far in Basketligaen. This win means that the record for last season is already broken and we are progressing greatly.
We are climbing to the 8th position in the League, and we will keep working every day to keep the improvement going. The next home game will be the 24th of January against Team FOG Næstved at 16:00.
